FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Wilson Lincoln-Mercury Body Shop renamed Burnside Body Shop
Prominent
Modesto collision repair and paint facility, Wilson Lincoln-Mercury
Body Shop, recently unveiled its new name: Burnside Body Shop.
Independent and family-owned by Brent and Stephanie Burnside since 2001,
the full-service shop restores damaged vehicles for individuals,
government agencies, fleets, dealerships and businesses.
“We
decided to change the name in part to designate ourselves as an
independent body shop,” says Stephanie Burnside, chief financial
officer. “We’ve found that although our customer base is very solid —
repeat businesses is in the 80 to 90 percent range — with the influx of
new consumers coming into this market, many identify us with the
Lincoln-Mercury dealership. We still get phone calls each week asking
for the sales department,” she explains. “We want people to know that we
repair all makes and models, not just Lincolns and Mercurys.”
The
ownership team remains the same, as does the Burnsides’ commitment to
honesty, integrity, quality, service and a strong work ethic.
The
shop employs a staff of 17. All technicians are ASE (Automotive Service
Excellence) certified and receive continuous training in collision
repair techniques and equipment.
“Brent expects perfection from
the guys here at the shop,” Stephanie Burnside notes. “It may take a
little longer than some of the others, but customers receive quality
they won’t find anywhere else.”
Burnside Body Shop is a member of
the California Autobody Association, the National Federation of
Independent Business, the Modesto Chamber of Commerce and the Better
Business Bureau.
The technologically advanced facility has
earned a number of distinctions, including approval by the
CertifiedFirst Network and an I-CAR (Inter-Industry Conference On Auto
Collision Repair) Gold certification.
In addition, Burnside Body
Shop is verified by Underwriters Laboratories Inc. (UL) and offers both
a workmanship warranty and Lifetime Paint Performance guarantee using
products bearing the Good Housekeeping Seal.
“We always know what
doctor we’re going to go to when we get sick,” Stephanie Burnside
explains. “Vehicles are the second largest investment most consumers
make, after their homes. With the high prices of vehicles these days,
it’s nice to know that if you wind up in an accident, you can take your
automobile to a place that can restore it to pre-accident condition
without jeopardizing its value.”
To coincide with the name
change, a new retro logo, Web site, marketing pieces and signage were
unveiled at Burnside Body Shop Thursday, February 17. More than 130
people attended the event. To reach the facility, located at 612 North
Franklin Street in Modesto, phone (209) 521-6570 or visit
