End-users
can now order 5.11 products and have them professionally embellished at
5.11’s full-service Custom Shop. Instead of ordering items, receiving
them in the mail, then sending them out for embellishment, users can
have their orders fulfilled all in one place through 5.11’s brand new
Custom Shop by contacting their local 5.11 Dealer.
“Our

Aldridge. “But taking products somewhere else to have embellishments
added was an extra step and an extra hassle. Our Custom Shop gives

expert customer service, custom embroidery, heat press, screen-printing

automatic screen press, ISO-certified ink mixing system, including
flame-retardant inks, and the highest quality screen output available in
textile printing,” he says.
“In embroidery, we operate the
industry’s most advanced machines. Each is equipped with 15 needles and
can operate at speeds of up to 1,200 stitches per minute,” Eble says,
adding that 5.11’s cutting-edge heat press equipment is fatigue-free and
digitally controlled.
If you need precision alterations on

gear, Aldridge says the Custom Shop welcomes requests. “We can get
pretty creative. We do everything from hemming, sleeve adjustments,
stripes, patches and badge tabs, to adding mic tabs, epaulets, zippers
and pockets,” she says.

software, a new graphics department offering digitizing services and
custom graphics, a larger customer service team and enhanced order
tracking. “We’ve added new employees and new equipment to increase
